Synopsis : The film is based on the sports of Kabaddi and tries to throw light on all the related aspects of this sport. The film is the brain child of the youth of royal city Patiala. The film stars Dev Kharoud, Gurleen Chopra, Guggu Gill, Deep Dhillon, Rana Ranbir, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sunita Dhir, Gagan Gill, Surinder Baath, Shavender Mahal, Pardeep Brar among others. Guggu Gill plays the role of a Kabddi coach in this film. The kabaddi players from the Nirvair Khalsa Kabaddi Academy Patiala will also be seen in the film. The film has been shot at Punjabi University Patiala along with the villages Abhaipur and Amargarh.

Summary: Sukhmani- Hope For Life is a story based on the Journey of Major Kuldeep Singh, played by Gurdas Maan, a decorated officer of the Para Battalion, who overcomes personal trauma and social indignity to uphold the morals of the army and the honour of a woman rejected by society and family, while keeping alive the memory of his beloved daughter Sukhmani.On that fateful day when the beautiful valley of Jammu & Kashmir is bloodied by the gruesome killings of his devoted wife and treasured daughter at the hands terrorists, Major. Kuldeep Singh’s life is thrown into disarray. To maintain his sanity and avoid falling in to a black hole of depression, he returns to his duty, fighting the terrorists with renewed vigor and the need to avenge his family.

Synopsis: A true love story that originated during 1947 partition of subcontinent revolves around a girl named Pooja(Saima)who is Hindu by descend and a Muslim boy named Bao(Moamar Rana). The story of the movie takes an interesting turn when Bao succeeds in winning Pooja's heart in comparison to Sooria(Babar Ali) who is Pooja fiancé, similarly Lajo(Hina Shaheen)who is engaged to Bao is also eagerly waiting for the love of her life.

Description: Directed by Simerjeet Singh, the film deals with a village in Punjab; the youth of which are heedless to their responsibilities. This affects the progress of the village as a whole, leaving the contingent elders worried and clueless about the future of the village. In this atmosphere of distress, Captain Avatar Singh (Gurdaas Mann) returns to his village after voluntarily retiring from the Indian Naval force. Disappointed with the current circumstances he pledges to reform his native land. The film has Gurdaas Mann in the lead role and Gaurav Kakkar, modela Doda, Gurkirtan, Sonal Minocha also playing pivotal characters. Looking at the current situations of our own country a film like this which deals with social issues and concerns will definitely give a lot more than entertainment.

Mel Karade Rabba, Punjabi Movie (2010)

Rajveer (Jimmy Shergill) is a university boy in Punjab, a self-styled cool, macho dude who can't help acting rude around the college girls. But surprisingly, without him doing anything, our cool dude manages to get close to the most eligible girl in the college - Seerat (Neeru Bajwa). Bowled over, he thinks he's got everything he needs in the world, besides love which he thinks he can get from Seerat, but he can't since Seerat replies that she is in love with Nihaal (Gippy Grewal), Rajveer's arched enemy, who has apparently proposed to Seerat straight-away after he found out that Rajveer also likes her. Rajveer and Nihaal fight for Seerat's love, and use everything they need to use to kill each other, hockey, baseball bats, chains, and most of all weapons. Who will win this fight, and more important who will win Seerat's heart.
